The striking and innovative Louvre Abu Dhabi building was designed by award-winning architect Jean Nouvel. Two thirds of the museum are covered by a white dome measuring 180 metres in diameter. Underneath it, the volumes of the museum are arranged.
The geometry of these low-rise buildings is simple, however the white facades are created of Contec high performance concrete and 20% of AALBORG WHITE ® cement were used in the HPC façade production.
The facades are varied in expression, creating an ever-changing experience for visitors.
