New Saint Ioann Kronshtadsky Church, located in the Ryazan of Russia, was built in 2018 in honor of Saint Ioann Kronshtadsky. The external main structure of the church was decorated with the cast stone architectural dressings made with AALBORG WHITE cement, paired with red bricks and dome to create a typical Renaissance Tower Style.

The story of the construction of the St. Ioann Kronstadtsky church began with the request to the Archbishop of Ryazan and Kasimov Paul by city residents and benefactors of the Spaso- Preobrazhensky monastery to consider the construction of a Church in the city Park which is near the monument Poletayev.

Bishop Paul approved the pious intentions of the faithful, blessed the Holy cause of the construction of the temple and offered to consecrate it in honor of St. Ioann of Kronshtadsky in connection with the celebration of the 100th anniversary of his blessed death.

Cast Stone Applications:

Cast Stone products was a successful combination of impressive technical and aesthetic characteristics of the finished product. The texture of the architectural elements of Cast Stone exactly repeats the texture of natural Sandstone, while having a high degree of uniformity. From a technological point of view, cast stone has an important feature – the possibility of instant Stripping after the formation of the product in the form. This allows the use of one form for replication of 30-40 parts, which significantly affects the cost of production and terms of its manufacture. However, this technology is extremely demanding on the quality and composition of the binder. Firstly, due to the increased requirements for color stability and whiteness – products are not painted after production. Secondly, because of the peculiarities of the water saturation of products after manufacture, which imposes additional requirements on the components of cement and the stability of their hydration time. Third, with low-water mixing and subsequent anhydrous laying of the mixture into the formwork, it is impossible to achieve high strength characteristics of the finished products without special requirements for the fineness of the grinding and the specific surface of the binder.
