Located in the “Two Mountains” Future Science and Technology City in Anji of Zhejiang, the Anji Cultural and Arts Centre reflects the national ambition to combine ecological values with urban development. Inspired by local bamboo leaves and tea fields, the design brings the surrounding landscape into a new cultural landmark.

Designed by MAD Architects, the centre features 12,000 m² of fair-faced UHPC precast façades produced by Possible New Materials, with curved panels accounting for around 40% of the total. Made with Aalborg White P.W. 52.5 cement from Cementir’s Anqing plant and reinforced with stainless steel fibres, the panels combine a consistent surface finish with the mechanical performance and durability required for complex, large-scale façades.
