Evreux Legendre Theatre Renovation

In the renovation of Legendre theatre, architecture firmOPUS 5 worked with Guillerm Prefab Beton, a French precast concrete manufacture,to design and produce the precast concretepanels that simulate the movement of the theater curtain. Based on Aalborg White®CEM I 52,5 R-SR5, 27pieces of prefabricated panels in High Performance Fibre Reinforced Concrete (HPFRC)technology with the weightof 11 tons, 13.50 meters’ height and2.30 meters’ width, 8 centimeters’skin thickness stiffened by reinforced concrete ribs at the back of the panels. All panelssurfaces were protected by Hydrophot® to ensure water repellency and photocatalytic cleaning.
