The Couldrey House is located on the outskirts of Brisbane, Australia. In the beautiful natural environment, shaded by trees, UK architect Peter Besley tried to create a unique house for the client. The brick and mortar facade chosen by the architects gave the building a distinctive appearance that was well received by the locals.

Aalborg White cement based brick mortar overflows between the bricks with the right consistency, creating a "strong horizontal effect like corduroy" and smoothing out the standardized masonry appearance of the bricks, allowing the brick walls to form a unified whole.
