Situated in South West London, the library building Clapham One was designed as a new apartment concept called PPP (Public Private Partnership) integrating a sustainable leisure center, library, family health center and 136 apartments. The cladding of this 12-storey building was formed by a series curved and dense white concrete masonry blocks made by AALBORG WHITE ® Cement. The concept of replacing rectangular with rounded corners of building covered with articulated white blocks broke down the overall mass and soften the visual impact on the high street.
